Clogging and Line Dancing Classes - Join the ladies for dance and exercise weekly in the Club House.

Pool Parties - Twice monthly poolside parties with food and live entertainment.

Weekly Fire Ring Gathering - Grab your guitar and join us for songs, stories and laughter every Saturday night.

Ice Cream Socials - Sponsored by the Rec Club once a month with choral performances, skits and dance numbers.

Weekly Meet and Greet Coffee Time - Come meet your neighbors over a cup of coffee and donut, every Tuesday morning in the Club House.

Pot Luck Dinners - The first Saturday of the month sample home made specialties prepared by residents of the park.

Bingo - Tuesday and Thursday evenings in the Club House, come try your luck.

Water Aerobics - Monday through Friday mornings, three starting times available.

Fashion Show - The latest fashions modeled by our residents from major department stores.

Game Night - Every Monday in the Club House, poker, bridge and various board games are available.

Crafts - Try your hand at a new craft each week taught by our resident crafter.

Choir - If you like to sing, join the choir which meets twice a week.

Golf Outings - Join the gang for a round at various courses in the area.

Horseshoes - Both Men’s and Women’s leagues available, travel to other parks for tournaments.

Shuffleboard - Sign up to play on our brand new courts, teams available with an end of the season tournament.

Party In The Park - An all day send-off at the end of the season, sponsored by the Rec Club with food, games, skits and live entertainment followed by a BBQ dinner in the Club House.

Movie Night - Twice a month, grab a bag of popcorn and watch a first run movie in the Club House.

Red Hat Society - Our local chapter meets weekly for meetings, tours and luncheons at local restaurants.

Bean Bag Baseball - Experience Shady Acres version of baseball every Sunday evening in the Club House.

Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinners - Sponsored by Shady Acres turkey dinner with all the trimmings.

Holiday Cookie Exchange - Bring your favorite cookie dough to the Club House, we will bake and exchange our goodies.

Themed Dinner/Dances - We have several dinner/dances planned each season, including: New Year’s Eve, Valentines Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Sock Hops, Western Themed, and Mardis Gras. Past menus have included: Prime Rib, Hawaiian Cornish Hens, Baby Back Ribs, Corned Beef and Cabbage and Old fashion Pot Roast.

Annual Hog Roast - Enjoy an authentic hog roast and pot luck in February.

Pancake Breakfasts - All you care to eat pancakes once a month in the Club House.
